We also had the opportunity to get some snorkel gear and cruise down the underground river. There were moments when we were completely underground and in the dark. That was a little
creepy but it was a fun experience!
There were other places you could see some ancient ruins or a butterfly exhibit and other animals. There were beaches for swimming and the most amazing show at the end of the night that celebrated Mexican culture from the very
beginning through today. That was one of the highlights of the day! They had 300 performers and the costumes were amazing! Unfortunately my camera couldn't get very good
pictures but I'll put up a few that I was
able to get
anyway.
Today we will spend some
time debriefing our time with the missionaries
and enjoying
the pool. Looking forward to a relaxing day!
Here's some other random pictures as I find them to load and for as long as the internet works!...
This gal to the left was special to me.
She is here after having her new haircut, pretty toes and a
massage!
The picture to the right is on the way to breakfast as the sun was rising. It was beautiful!
The picture to the left is inside the cemetery hill at XCARET. Each whole has a candle in it and there is a waterway channel that funnels the water round and round this area down to the floor. Pretty cool!
The picture to the right was my second small group. Here they were all feeling pretty good with new haircuts, pedicures, make-up and massages!
